IDM Automation participated in the ninth edition of SPS IPC Drives Italia, the digital industry fair held in Parma from 28 to 30 May, thanks to the partnership with Mitsubishi Electric. Strengthened by a collaboration begun and successfully continued for some time, Mitsubishi Electric and IDM Automation have shown the benefits in terms of business and customer experience that can be obtained through the synergy between mechanical technology and advanced software. At the fair, a specific production line for the customization of cosmetic products was recreated live, a space in which spectators were able to place an order for a personalized gift via an e-commerce platform. The order sent to the production line, consisting of e-MF302 by IDM Automation and by the machines of Tecnosas and Arca Etichette, simulated an integrated process of complete creation of the product and ended when the visitor was ready to collect their gift. The line was found to be flexible, automated and completely interconnected.
