Cosmoprof Bologna 2022: an opportunity to stay updated
Cosmoprof Bologna is the exhibition dedicated to the world of beauty, created to share know-how and discover the trends related to the cosmetics and beauty world. It’s a real stage for getting to know each other, presenting what’s new and taking inspiration. Visiting Cosmoprof Bologna means keeping up with market trends and staying up to date with the latest news from the cosmetics industry and the production chain.
The opportunities to present the novelties
During the days of the fair, you will have the opportunity to discover new products and brands, and to attend demonstrations and live shows. Among these is Cosmopack, the event that shows the market what’s new in the processes and technologies used in the cosmetics production chain. In this regard, the Cosmopack Awards give a seal of quality to the most innovative products in terms of formulation, technology, packaging and design. These four components are awarded according to their degree of innovation, creativity and environmental sustainability.
Two other interesting projects are Cosmofactory and the Buyer Program. The first one represents a unique opportunity to witness the live production process of cosmetics, while the second is a project aimed at promoting the meeting between supply and demand in the cosmetic industry. Buyers can access a package of services tailored to maximize networking activities and stay up-to-date on the latest market trends.
IDM Automation will be an important part of Cosmoprof Bologna 2022
Innovation has been at the heart of IDM Automation’s production for years and this year we will be attending Cosmoprof Bologna 2022 to present our latest smart and innovative solutions.
We believe in the importance of letting people touch the quality of our new automation systems and it is with this enthusiasm that this year we will bring to the fair the new PF-220 line. Not only a production line but a real innovation of concept as we like to define it. It is, in fact, a fully automated line comprising a digital tube printing machine and a tube filling and closing machine connected by a collaborative anthropomorphic robot capable of transferring the printed tubes to the tube-filling machine.
Born from the collaboration with Quantix Digital, in whose creation IDM Automation has directly participated, the real novelty is intrinsic to digital printing and consists in the possibility of printing directly onto the containers without the need for printing plates; in this way it is possible to print small production batches or even limited quantities for promotional campaigns. The main advantage, therefore, is to reduce logistic and stock problems. In fact, the stocks consist of neutral tubes/flasks/containers on which you can print what you want through the use of a software, quickly and without quantity constraints, fill them in line and thus have a product ready for delivery without intermediate steps of logistics.
Moreover, the use of plastic labels is completely eliminated: everything that needs to be drawn or written on the bottle is printed directly on it.
The new PF-220 line is an absolute novelty. It exemplifies a concept that IDM Automation wants to present: the in-line combination of printing and filling. With the line we will be showing at Cosmoprof Bologna, the concept is represented by the printing and filling of an aluminium tube, but it can be transferred to the printing and filling of a plastic tube, a make-up bottle and other round, oval or conical containers.
Come and see our new PF-220 line at Hall 19, Stand C16PK, we are waiting for you.
