There The 53rd edition of Cosmoprof ended successfully after 4 days of exhibitions and events. For us it was a unique opportunity to show the public our IDM Automation innovations. We had the pleasure of presenting our new ones digital printing machines And tube filling machines in collaboration with Quantix Digital, and we were impressed by the turnout at our stand. Cosmoprof was a great opportunity to present our new image and gave us the opportunity to preview the trends in the cosmetics sector for 2022. 

THE trends in the cosmetics sector of this year  

In today's article we want to share the precious informations that we obtained from Cosmoprof 2022, presenting the main ones trend of cosmetic sector of this year. The watchwords will certainly be: digital, sustainability And armochromy. 

Invest in digital 

The digital it's a trends in the cosmetics sector continuously growing, particularly after the boost obtained from the pandemic. It represents a tool that if used with awareness can prove really useful for companies in the cosmetics sector.  

Its advantages are countless. First of all, it acts as an integrative tool for the services offered by cosmetic companies, allowing the dialogue with customers to be further developed.

Furthermore, investing in digital in the aesthetic sector also means knowing how to communicate your uniqueness and differences compared to competitors. In fact, we find ourselves faced with consumers who are increasingly aware and eager to receive as much information as possible on the services they want to use. 

Sustainability and clean beauty 

Others trends in the cosmetics sector growing are those of the so-called "clean beauty" and of sustainability. The clean beauty consists in the creation of products with a very clean INCI. Therefore, more and more cosmetics are being produced free from possibly irritating agents and toxic components such as formaldehyde or parabens, the most commonly used. 

More and more cosmetic companies are getting closer to the trend of sustainability. Being a beauty center attentive to sustainability means relying on experts in the production chain who in turn adopt sustainable behaviours.

Sustainability is concretely verifiable through certifications such as ISO or the ECOCERT , which protect the quality of the production chain. Concretely, it is obtained by using ingredients of natural origin and sustainable or recyclable packaging.

It is also very important to reduce (if not eliminate) the use of plastic, making use of automation systems innovative.
